Geforce 8600's: Good deal?

Anyone tried the new 8600 cards yet? I'm wondering if they are worth it or just slower versions of the 7900's that happen to support DirectX 10.

nope, they are faster than the 7900's.
even so, you can still run with dx9 if you dont have vista.
