Just a quick update to say SSGT. Angle will be at the store tonight (Wednesday the 21st) with the Future Soldier Trainer again - for those of you that missed it last time, it's full on simulator (8 foot screen) that you can play a custimized version of America's Army on with life sized gear. It's a lot of fun and even better, it's free, so stop on by!

America's Army Gamers of Denver mark your calendars for 30 May 2008 as Maximumgamer Arvada and the U.S. Army will be sponsoring a night of both free play of America's Army
and a 2v2 CQB tournament on Dockside. The event will start at 5:00pm
local time and will be held at the Arvada store.
There will be free play for AA and COD4 from 5pm to 10pm, with our regularly scheduled lock in taking place on time at 11pm. There are going to be some awesome prizes courtesy of the Army so be sure to be there!

Spring Break is here - are you ready? We are, and we're hosting some special events to celebrate.
First, we're going to hold special Spring Break all-nighters starting March 24th on Monday and Wednesday the 26th, in addition to our regular event Friday night. We've already had nearly half the space in these spoken for so be sure to get your name on the list in-store now.
Second, all week we're going to host CounterStrike and DOTA mini-tournaments, 3v3, best of 6 matches, winners get free time. This is leading up to our main event - a CS Tournament the week after Spring break featuring cold, hard cash as prizes! More on that event as it draws closer, in the mean time get in and get your CS practice in now. We're setting up a special dedicated server this week so you don't need to host a game on your own PC.
Today (Tuesday the 18th) we're going to hold the first of several mini-matches prior to the events of next week - 4 3 person squads are needed. Last Saturday we held an 8 team match to great success so lets see if we can do the same today.

New Gamer Drive- Get 4 hours free!: It's time for
some new blood, and if you help us we'll make it worth your while. For
a limited time, bring in a NEW gamer (must have photo id!) and get free
game time! It's simple - you bring in a friend who hasn't played with
us before, they get a free hour on the spot. When they buy their first
hour (or more) we'll credit 4 hours to your account.
That's all there is to it, and while the promotion lasts, there's no
limit to how many friends you can bring. All we ask is that they be new
gamers and have photo id (abuse of this promotion is something we take
seriously, so please, lets keep it on the level). This offer is good
for the month of February.

Just a quick reminder, we are open this fine New Years Eve in Arvada and are holding our annual New Years Lock-in tonight at 11pm! Space, as always, is limited - we already have nearly half the seats reserved - so be sure to get there early!
